According to a report from Vo Thi Sau Secondary School (Hai Duong City, Hai Duong Province), on September 21, the parent of NTL, a 7th grade student at the school, reported that his daughter was slapped by the class monitor for no apparent reason. The family also shared the incident on Facebook.
Immediately upon receiving the feedback, the school's Board of Directors invited two students: PAP, the 7th grade class monitor, and NTL to come in and report the incident. These two students confirmed that there was a fight.
Specifically, during the second period break on September 20, PAP and TNL sat talking on the podium. The class monitor told TL a private secret of his own. However, after listening, TL told the secret out loud to his classmates.
Afraid of revealing his private secret, AP could not control his emotions and slapped TL. After the incident, AP apologized to his friend. When he got home that night, TL talked to his family and the family was upset.

A representative of Vo Thi Sau Secondary School stated that the class monitor PAP slapping a classmate in class was a private matter between individuals. AP was wrong in using violence against her classmate. TL was also at fault for not keeping her classmate's personal secrets.
After being analyzed by the school teachers, the two students realized their mistakes and apologized to each other. AP's mother also went with her daughter to TL's family to apologize.
Also related to the PAP class monitor, some students in the class reported that they had beaten their classmates many times since 6th grade. Specifically, when classmates made mistakes, the class monitor punished them by making them clean the class or stand up and sit down many times, sometimes even beating their classmates. This action caused anger among parents about the homeroom teacher's management and education methods.
Ms. NTPA - the homeroom teacher of the class noticed shortcomings and deficiencies in management, organization, and inappropriate educational measures. The school requested the teacher to apologize to the parents and ask for a serious self-criticism, admit the shortcomings and make corrections. At the same time, the homeroom teacher must write a self-criticism about the shortcomings and learn from the experience.
The school has asked the NTPA teacher to stop working as a homeroom teacher and English teacher in class and assign her to another job. The school has assigned another teacher to work as a homeroom teacher and English teacher in this 7th grade class.
