The scholarship program is an important step in expanding opportunities for Thu Duc City students to access a modern, international-standard educational environment right in their and their families' living area, convenient for studying and experiencing.

Recently, SIU has also announced the "Continuing the Journey" Scholarship program, marking a new step forward in SIU's policy of supporting and nurturing talents: with 100 scholarships covering 100% of the full-time tuition fee, about 238.5 - 634.9 million VND/scholarship for students with difficult circumstances and good academic performance. SIU believes that the humanistic values that "Continuing the Journey" brings will help students with difficult circumstances continue their dream of university, giving them more motivation and confidence to overcome challenges and move towards a bright future. It is known that this scholarship is connected and awarded by SIU students, who are alumni, to juniors of the high school they attended.
In 2024, SIU announced a series of scholarship programs for a variety of subjects such as: Full SIU President Scholarship with monthly living expenses; 50% tuition scholarship for students with excellent achievements in national and international cultural, sports and artistic activities; Enterprise scholarship sponsoring 20% of tuition for the entire course; 20% tuition scholarship for all students enrolling in English-taught programs; Young Talent Scholarship Fund worth from 40% to 100% of tuition for the entire course.
In particular, in 2024, SIU will officially enroll 4 new attractive majors: Public Relations , Multimedia Communications, Educational Technology and Information Technology (including majors: Information Technology, Medical Information Technology, Microchip Design, Graphic Design) , to provide high-quality human resources for the labor market. These are the fields of study that are receiving the attention of students and are also important areas in the socio-economic development orientation of Vietnam and the world.
