(Fatherland) - Spectrum of The Seas cruise ship carrying nearly 4,800 international passengers docked at Cam Ranh port, Khanh Hoa province, on a tour of Asia on the morning of December 13.
At around 6am, the Spectrum of The Seas entered Cam Ranh International Port, carrying a group of nearly 4,800 passengers of many nationalities. Most of the tourists chose a tour to visit Nha Trang, a few went to Wyndham Grand KN Paradise Cam Ranh resort, or freely visited by shuttle bus. In the afternoon of the same day, the ship left the port to continue its journey to Hong Kong (China).

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh - Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, said that up to now, the province has welcomed 28 international cruise ships with nearly 58,000 tourists coming ashore for sightseeing. "This is a positive signal for the recovery and development of cruise tourism activities in Vietnam in general and Khanh Hoa province in particular, contributing to the success of Khanh Hoa tourism industry", Ms. Thanh said.
Spectrum of the Seas arrived in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa earlier this year with 4,400 guests. This is the largest and most modern ship operating in Asia, built in Germany in 2019 at a cost of 940 million USD. The ship is 347 m long, nearly 50 m wide with 16 floors equipped with the world's leading indoor entertainment and sports complex./.
Since the end of September 2024, Nha Trang port has been forced to temporarily close for repairs, affecting Khanh Hoa's cruise tourism sector. The provincial authorities have chosen to receive ships at Cam Ranh International Port (Cam Ranh City), about 60km from Nha Trang City, and build tours to serve visitors.
