Ms. Pham Kim Dung added that the trip was intended to make a small contribution, hoping that people in the flooded areas would soon overcome difficulties, overcome the consequences of natural disasters and return to normal life. From Pho Lu, Lao Cai to the Bao Yen relief point, the convoy took another 1.5 hours.
CEO Pham Kim Dung was moved by the tragic stories in Nu village.
"From Bao Yen District People's Committee, we continued to visit and inquire about 8 families at Bao Yen District Hospital. They were all victims of the flash flood, seriously injured and in pain of losing loved ones," Ms. Pham Kim Dung shared.
The aid team has arrived at Lang Nu village (Phuc Khanh commune, Bao Yen district) - the place most severely damaged by the flood. The village is now devastated, only mud remains, almost flattened, with only a few roofs remaining on the high mountains.
The delegation also visited a man with a broken pelvis who was being treated at Bao Yen Commune General Hospital, while his wife and three children were swept away by the flood.
CEO Pham Kim Dung and Director Hoang Nhat Nam visited the hospital to visit, encourage and support many people after the natural disaster.
With the desire to support the people of Nu village to quickly stabilize their lives, CEO couple Pham Kim Dung and Hoang Nhat Nam, along with Miss Vietnam 2022 Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy, visited each household, talked and encouraged them to overcome their grief.
When arriving at Lang Nu, Mrs. Pham Kim Dung could not help but be moved: When arriving at Lang Nu, the scene that made my heart stop the most was the row of coffins in front of the Cultural House. As soon as the body is found, the people will perform the burial ceremony. There are many people gathered here waiting for support, each person is sad and distraught after the loss.
Nu village devastated after flash flood
"In the past few days, we were heartbroken when reading the news and seeing the tragic images in Nu village - a village with 37 households flattened. And when we arrived here, we felt even more the loss and sadness that enveloped the people here." At the same time, CEO Pham Kim Dung and the charity group donated from 2-5 million VND/household.
In addition, the charity group visited the doctors and militiamen on duty in Nu village. CEO Pham Kim Dung, director Hoang Nhat Nam and Miss Thanh Thuy also supported the Viet Tien kindergarten with a small amount of money to buy school supplies and kitchen utensils that were swept away by the flood.
The delegation gave Mid-Autumn gifts to students here.
CEO Pham Kim Dung, Director Hoang Nhat Nam and Miss Thanh Thuy support equipment for the hospital.
Director Hoang Nhat Nam sympathized when he heard the story of the rescue team finding the victim's body buried in mud. "Every person, every family has a sad story. The more I hear, the more I know, the more I feel like my chest is suffocating and I can't breathe," said director Hoang Nhat Nam.
When he arrived, director Hoang Nhat Nam felt warm when he saw the lines of relief vehicles, going over the pass to each house. "The muddy roads are difficult to move, many places are at risk of landslides. That is why not many convoys are allowed to go there. The narrow roads can only accommodate one lane, when meeting oncoming vehicles, they have to reverse to avoid getting into the deep bushes. Sometimes they have to ask for a tow truck, the whole group has to push the cart together. It shows the warm friendship between people," director Hoang Nhat Nam added.
On the same morning, King Tuan Ngoc and the National Economics University delegation were present in Tuyen Quang to support and help families facing difficulties before the upcoming storm. King Tuan Ngoc and the school delegation gave meaningful gifts and encouraged families in especially difficult circumstances in Kim Xuyen and Cay Vang villages...
In addition to giving small gifts to support the people, Mr. Tuan Ngoc and members of the school's Youth Union helped people clean up and deal with the consequences of the flood. Mr. World Vietnam 2024 hopes that these small gifts will be a part of the spiritual encouragement for households in especially difficult circumstances, so that they can soon stabilize their lives.
