Two diners were caught stealing 10kg of meat from a hotpot buffet restaurant in Jinan, Shandong province.
Local media reported that on March 11, after finishing their meal, two male diners used four plastic bags to take about 10kg of beef and lamb from the restaurant and take them out. However, the incident was discovered by the restaurant manager and reported to the police.

Witnesses present said that because this was a buffet restaurant, the two diners had eaten a lot from afternoon to evening that day.
The entire stolen meat was weighed by the restaurant manager in front of the staff and diners present at the time.
Sharing on the official website, the restaurant said that it is applying a price of 88 Yuan/person (about 310,000 VND). Customers coming here can eat comfortably and are not limited by meal time.
However, inside the restaurant there is a notice that says "no food to be taken out". In case a customer takes a lot of food but does not finish it, it must be left on the table and cannot be packed and taken away.
The two diners who violated the regulations have now been handed over to the police.
