SASCO plants trees to give to the land of thousands of pine trees in Da Lat

More than 3,000 three-leaf pine trees have been planted in Da Lat city to continue the Green Day - Green Life program.

On the morning of October 31, SASCO Company planted 3,000 more pine trees in Da Lat city. This program marks the third consecutive year that SASCO has implemented the Green Day - Green Life project, contributing a total of 9,000 trees to Da Lat.

According to Mr. Le Thai Son - Head of Da Lat Forest Protection Department, three-leaf pine is a native tree with high adaptability to Da Lat's climate and soil conditions. Pine forests have the potential to absorb CO2 and produce significant oxygen, contributing significantly to climate change mitigation and biodiversity.

Over the years, Sasco has always had many activities aimed at protecting the environment, joining hands with the community towards greening and building a green environment.

Da Lat has long been famous for its cool green pine forests, creating a unique climate and poetic landscape. However, under the pressure of urbanization, the area of ​​pine forests is gradually shrinking. Adding more pine trees helps preserve the city's characteristics and cleans the air, maintaining cool temperatures all year round.

"SASCO's pine planting activities are in line with the eco-tourism development orientation and the overall planning of Da Lat. We expect projects like this to contribute to creating the landscape of a "city in a pine forest" which is the brand of Da Lat," said Mr. Nguyen Viet Quyen, Chairman of Ward 7, Da Lat City.
