This 2024 Giap Thin Lunar New Year, HAMT Organic Farm has entered its 4th year of supplying foreign fruits at Vietnamese prices in the domestic market. During that time, HAMT has built and stabilized the number of agents and collaborators distributing its fruits nationwide, typically the DeLi Fruit System (Nha Trang, Da Lat, Phan Thiet), Dreamfood Saigon, BoBin Da Nang Kitchen, BBF Nghe An Fruit System, Hanoi Flower & Fruit Store... Therefore, it has contributed to creating a habit of feeling the delicious taste of fruits grown in an organic - Biological direction in consumers. At the same time, it has also made customers of places selling HAMT fruits wait until the time the farm harvests to buy and enjoy, especially with Taiwanese honeydew melons, Thanh Lam melons, Ruby guavas, Hoa Loc mangoes, Golden star apples...

During that time, people who like to eat imported fruits grown in Vietnam were looking forward to it, when through the media and social networks, they learned that in Hong Son commune, Ham Thuan Bac district, there is a farm growing foreign fruits, named HAMT. However, it was not until mid-2023 that they had the opportunity to enjoy them, when the DeLi Fruit system linked up and officially cooperated to distribute them throughout the system, including selling foreign fruits grown at HAMT Organic Farm. Now, consumers know the shape and taste of Melons, Custard Apples, Taiwanese Ruby Guava, Thai Ruby Grapefruit, Golden Star Apple, Golden Dragon Fruit, Indonesian Red Jackfruit... even though not long ago they seemed strange to hear. And most prominent of all, the Farm's melons include Honeydew Melons and Thanh Lam Melons, which are always the first choice of buyers when entering the store.

This success is the result of a process in which HAMT's agricultural engineers tested growing many varieties of melons and screened and experienced many times of adjusting the production process. Finally, these are the two melon varieties considered the best and most delicious in Vietnam to date, selected by Farm. With the excellence of the hybrid varieties, combined with the soil quality, climate, water source and the organic-biological cultivation process of HAMT, these two melon varieties have produced fruit with the delicious, crispy, and fragrant taste typical of hot, sunny climates. Therefore, HAMT's melon output for sale increases every year. That is why in 2024, HAMT plans to develop an additional 1 hectare of greenhouse to cultivate these two melon varieties, increasing the farm's melon growing area to 2 hectares, aiming to supply the national market with over 300 tons of melons and fruits each year.

The above market expansion also shows the acceptance of consumers for HAMT fruits. That is a good sign for the investor of HAMT Organic Farm. Because since the start-up until now, whether in difficult times or favorable times, this investor has determined to focus on consumer needs. "We do agriculture with passion, orientation and desire to bring to Vietnamese consumers quality, delicious, nutritious fruit products from the world, grown on the sunny and windy Ham Thuan Bac, Binh Thuan land according to the organic - biological orientation at a price suitable for domestic consumers" - the farm investor said in a meeting with reporters.

And up to this point, when the Farm marks a 4-year journey with many difficulties and failures but has also grown foreign varieties of trees suitable for the climate and soil conditions in Hong Son, Binh Thuan and has borne fruit, this is also when the Farm itself radiates its appeal to everyone. Everyone is curious about how these foreign fruits can survive in this sunny and windy land? How are they grown, especially how is organic farming done? Anyone with a little knowledge about fruits is also curious when they know that the Farm has extremely expensive imported varieties such as Mexican giant sapodilla, Taiwanese peony grapes, cream cake trees, chocolate persimmons, Musang King durian trees... and wants to learn how the trees adapt and grow well.

That is the reason why the investor HAMT decided to open the Farm to welcome visitors to experience in 2024. Partly because they want to provide knowledge, spread the way of doing decent farming, experience imported plant varieties and also be a place for those who are passionate about organic farming to meet and exchange. The other part is because the scenery of the Farm is also very charming, not only because of the strangeness of the imported fruits but also because the arrangement of the investor's miniature landscapes is inclined towards relaxation and meditation, which is very fascinating. In particular, standing at the Farm, you can see the whole view of the rolling hills surrounding the dragon fruit fields, you can see the train passing by many times a day with the train whistle echoing in the air like a scene in a movie about the American West.
