According to the report of the Department of Finance, in the first quarter, Hai Duong's output of fresh meat reached 50,730 tons, up 31.6% compared to the target. The total pig herd was 461,000, up 5.4% over the same period last year; the buffalo herd was 5,520, up 2.2% (1.8% higher than the plan); the cow herd was 14,300, up 1.1% (1.2%); the poultry herd was nearly 17.7 million, up 5.1% (0.28%).
