The report suggests that this will be implemented for Galaxy S25 members in some regions. If the information is accurate, it would be a significant change for Samsung's Galaxy S line of phones.

For years, Samsung has opted to equip its flagship mobile lineup with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon chips in most regions, although some have received Exynos versions. For example, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is the top-end chip found in the Galaxy S24 Ultra in all regions, along with the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus in some regions. The Exynos 2400, on the other hand, appears in some Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus models in other parts of the world.
This latest news suggests that Samsung could use three chips in a combination of the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra. The report cites the high price of Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon chip as the reason for the possible change.
Many have suggested that Samsung is unlikely to change chips in 2025, with the Galaxy S25 series expected to instead use the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip and its in-house Exynos 2500. However, Kuo recently reported that the Exynos 2500 is not ready to ship due to Samsung's lower-than-expected 3nm performance, making the new rumor interesting, especially since Kuo predicts the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will cost 25-30% more than its predecessor.
The new Galaxy S25 series could be announced by Samsung early next year. Previous rumors suggest that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have significant camera upgrades.
