Spanish media believe that Vinicius Junior's move to Saudi Arabia could pave the way for Erling Haaland to join Real Madrid in the future.

According to Sky Sports , Real Madrid will prioritize recruiting Haaland if Vinicius decides to join a club in the Saudi Pro League. Even though the "Los Blancos" leadership does not want to let the Brazilian striker leave, the team is still planning to find a replacement for Vinicius right now.

Haaland is seen as an ideal complement to Kylian Mbappe, as the French star and Vinicius show signs of stepping on each other's toes in Real Madrid's attack. If Haaland joins, Mbappe could return to his preferred left wing.

Signing the Man City striker will help Real Madrid maintain its attacking power. The Norwegian striker is expected to score at least 30 goals per season.

Of course, Man City will not let Haaland leave easily. The team has just extended the contract with this striker until 2034. Haaland is also happy with life at the Etihad Stadium, with his salary increased to about 500,000 pounds/week.

"Man City is a special club, with great people and incredible fans. This is the environment that helps me develop my abilities," Haaland shared.

Currently, Real Madrid still expect Vinicius and Mbappe to shine in the rematch against Arsenal in the Champions League quarter-finals. In the first leg, "Los Blancos" lost 0-3 at Emirates.

Haaland missed many chances on the day Man City won hard-fought Manchester City won 1-0 against Tottenham Hotspur in the match of round 27 of the Premier League on February 27.
