
Attending the ceremony were leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Association; representatives of a number of provincial agencies and units; leaders of the People's Committee of Bao Thang district and a number of district agencies and units; representatives of villages in Phong Nien commune and members of the Cooperative.
Phong Nien Agriculture - Forestry - Fishery Cooperative was established on the basis of the Aquaculture Farmers' Association (Lang Cung village) and the Intensive Hybrid Carp Farming Association (Tan Phong village).
This is a new cooperative model (a cooperative established by a farmers' association), with close links between members in farming, production, processing and consumption of products. Members voluntarily commit to participating in the establishment of the cooperative and agree to develop operating regulations according to the current Law on Cooperatives.

The cooperative was established with 22 members, mainly operating in the fields of aquaculture, forestry, fruit tree, vegetable and food production from aquatic products; the cooperative's means of production include 8.9 hectares of aquaculture ponds, 3.7 hectares of fruit trees and 1.5 hectares of various vegetables.
Regarding the structure, the cooperative's Board of Directors consists of 5 members; the Executive Board consists of 3 members. The cooperative has a temporary headquarters at the Tan Phong Village Cultural House, Phong Nien Commune.


Phong Nien Agricultural - Forestry - Fishery Cooperative was established with the goal of gathering and connecting capable factors, promoting local internal strength in organizing the production of more agricultural products, increasing product value, finding ways to link, promote, and market products to the market; increasing income, creating jobs for members and people; building OCOP products of the commune, contributing to restructuring agricultural groups, building new rural areas in the locality.
