Former Korean volleyball player Yeon Koung Kim, British skateboarder Andy Macdonald, Australian Paralympic athlete Madison de Rozario, and British content creator and inspirational Science teacher Matt Green join the project as Global Ambassadors and actively share content for the “Together for tomorrow, Enabling people” community via social media.
The “Together for tomorrow, Enabling people” project was developed by Samsung and the IOC to help Olympic and Paralympic fans around the world experience and actively participate in the Olympic Movement.
The programme focuses primarily on the younger generation, with the new community created with the aim of helping young people engage in “solving, mobilising and creating in the spirit of the Olympic values”.
The project introduces three new community-driven initiatives: Solve Challenge integrates sport and the Olympics with Samsung’s Solve for Tomorrow program, a youth-focused corporate social responsibility program that empowers young people to design innovative solutions using sport and technology to address challenges, aligned with the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) Olympism365 priorities.
The Move Challenge encourages Olympic fans around the world to move and walk more using their Samsung smartphones. The Create Challenge allows participants to create with a community of digital artists using their Samsung smart devices and S Pen.
At the launch event, 10 outstanding young people representing the winning teams of Samsung’s Solve for Tomorrow competitions held in various countries were announced as ambassadors for the project. During the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris, the ambassadors will showcase the solutions they have created to address social challenges and work to engage Olympic fans around the world.

At the Launch Event, ambassadors shared their Solve for Tomorrow projects designed to solve real-world problems. The innovative solutions presented ranged from helping people overcome visual disabilities to new ways to promote worker safety.
“Samsung Solve for Tomorrow empowers high school students with the courage to change the world,” said Ngan Huu Kim Le, a representative of the US team that developed an environmental cleaning solution based on insect research. “It is an honor for us to participate and have the opportunity to present our solution to help build a brighter future for our planet at Paris 2024 with famous athletes from all over the world,” she added.

They are the innovators of tomorrow, and I look forward to seeing them tackle the many challenges our world faces. We are delighted to be working with our global partner Samsung to continue supporting talented young people in projects at the intersection of sports and technology,” said Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
“This project creates a program where young people can directly participate and experience the values of the Olympic Games. It is a great result of our long-standing partnership with the International Olympic Committee (IOC),” said YH Lee, President and Head of Global Marketing, Samsung Electronics. “We will continue to support young people in taking on bold and meaningful challenges to build a brighter future.”
Representative from Vietnam, Nguyen Hoang Dung - captain of the Mindful Medical Brand team, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Hanoi - the team that won the first prize in Group B (High School) of the Solve for Tomorrow 2023 competition, was excellently selected as 1 of 10 ambassadors for the project "Together for tomorrow, Enabling people". Nguyen Hoang Dung and members of the Mindful Medical Brand team are the authors of the project "MedIQ - Smart medical box applying IOT platform and management software system", providing a proactive healthcare solution, allowing the measurement of multiple indicators (body temperature, blood pressure, heart rate, SPO2) on the same device, ensuring measurement speed and accuracy of the indicators and automatically storing measurement results in real time; from there, providing an overview report on health indicators according to target groups.
