The conference listened to reports on the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement work in the first 6 months of the year, directions and tasks for the last 6 months of 2024; a summary report on the results of the Party cell meetings of the members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, members of the City Party Executive Committee, cadres and experts of Party committees, the City Party Committee Office, grassroots Party committee members and Party members who are cadres and civil servants of communes and wards in the second quarter of 2024; dissemination and implementation of regulations, directives and plans of the Politburo, the Secretariat, the Provincial Party Standing Committee...
Delegates focused on discussing solutions to complete the budget revenue target; clarifying the slow disbursement of public investment capital, compensation for site clearance, auction of land use rights, construction of residential areas, key projects, etc.
In his concluding remarks at the conference, Secretary of the City Party Committee Ta Duc Tuyen acknowledged and commended the achievements made in the past time. He also emphasized that Party committees at all levels, authorities, agencies, units, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the city need to focus on overcoming the limitations and shortcomings that have been pointed out. Based on the functions and tasks of each agency and unit, solidarity, effort, creativity and determination in performing tasks.
In particular, drastic solutions are needed to complete budget revenue targets, focusing on budget-balanced revenue items; drastic and effective direction of tasks and solutions to speed up construction progress and disbursement of capital for public investment projects; and good implementation of site clearance and urban planning management.
At the same time, improve political ideology among Party members and cadres through oral propaganda and on cyberspace; improve the quality of inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement of the Party; pay attention to improving the quality of Thanh Tuyen Festival so that each year is higher than the previous year...
Previously, the Conference announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to appoint two comrades to join the Party Executive Committee of Tuyen Quang city for the 2020-2025 term: Vu Thuy Mai, Head of the Finance and Planning Department of Tuyen Quang city and Tran Duc Hiep, Director of the People's Procuracy of Tuyen Quang city.
