Quang Nam assigns 159 additional commune-level civil servants

In Resolution 27 dated July 11, 2024, the Provincial People's Council agreed with the proposal of the Provincial People's Committee on assigning an additional 159 commune-level civil servants (according to population size: 90 people, natural area: 69 people) and 159 non-professional workers at the commune level (according to population size: 90 people, natural area: 69 people).

With the number assigned in Resolution 27, Dien Ban town was assigned the most with 37 civil servants and 37 part-time workers at the commune level; followed by Nam Giang with 30 civil servants and 30 part-time workers at the commune level; Nui Thanh with 21 civil servants and 21 part-time workers at the commune level. Phu Ninh was assigned the least with 1 civil servant and 1 part-time worker at the commune level.

According to Decree No. 33/2023/ND-CP, the total number of commune-level cadres and civil servants assigned according to commune classification and specific factors is 5,157 people; the total number of non-professional staff at the commune level assigned is 3,199 people. Meanwhile, in Resolution No. 68 dated December 29, 2023, the People's Council of Quang Nam province has just assigned according to commune classification with the number of 4,998 commune-level civil servants and 3,040 non-professional staff at the commune level in 2024.

Thus, this time the Provincial People's Council assigned 159 additional civil servants and 159 non-professional workers at the commune level for 17 districts, towns and cities (Nong Son district merged with Que Son) of Quang Nam province in 2024, which is enough according to the provisions of Decree No. 33 dated June 10, 2023 of the Government.
