Phu Yen organizes and streamlines many units and agencies

(NLDO) - According to the arrangement plan, the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee will reduce 1 advisory agency, and the Provincial People's Committee will reduce 5 professional agencies.

Conference "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently" in Phu Yen province

On the afternoon of December 9, Phu Yen province held a conference to summarize Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee on "Some issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently".

At the conference, Mr. Luu Vinh Hung, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee, reported on the plan to arrange and organize the provincial and district-level apparatus in the party, mass organizations and government blocs. The work of arranging and streamlining the apparatus is oriented to be associated with streamlining the payroll and restructuring the staff, civil servants and public employees to meet the requirements of new tasks. The time to complete the work in Phu Yen province and report to the Central Steering Committee is before December 31, 2024.

It is expected that after the reorganization and streamlining, Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee will have 14 Party Committees; reduce 1 advisory agency to assist the Provincial Party Committee, reduce 8 Party delegations and 3 Party executive committees.

For the specialized agencies of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations, it is proposed to maintain the current 6 agencies; only streamline the internal organizations according to the Central's instructions.

For the Provincial People's Council, it is proposed to maintain the current 5 advisory and support agencies. Specifically, they include: the Legal Committee, the Economic - Budget Committee, the Cultural - Social Committee, the Ethnic Committee, and the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council.

For the Provincial People's Committee, it is expected to streamline the apparatus according to the Government's instructions. For the Department of Foreign Affairs, there are two options: maintain or terminate operations, and transfer the State management function to the Provincial People's Committee Office. After the reorganization, the specialized agencies of Phu Yen province will reduce by 5 agencies.

In the district People's Council and People's Committee bloc, after the arrangement of specialized agencies, there will be from 9 to 10 units. Of which, 7 specialized agencies are organized uniformly in all 9 districts, towns, and cities and a number of specialized agencies to suit each administrative unit.

Mr. Pham Dai Duong, Secretary of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee, requested that the reorganization is not only a matter of scale or quantity, but also the most optimal organization of the apparatus, creating qualitative changes in the operation of the political system. The reorganization needs to be carried out urgently but must be done carefully, firmly, and firmly according to principles.
