Families around the world today are facing four major problems: financial burden, decline in traditional cultural values, challenges in family education and especially the influence of technology.
Technology is an indispensable element in modern life, however, overuse of technology can lead to alienation between family members and reduce the quality of communication.
With the dual role of being both a member and an "educator" (as a mother) in each family, women today have a particularly important role in proactively adapting to and mastering digital tools through many different ways.
1. Applying technology to family education
- Use learning and management apps: Women can use apps like Duolingo, Khan Academy or Google Classroom to support their children's learning and track their progress.
- Take online courses: Many mothers take digital skills courses to improve their knowledge and help their children learn better.
2. Develop digital thinking for children
- Guide children to use the Internet safely: Teach children how to look up information, distinguish fake news and use social networks in a civilized manner.
- Promote programming and STEM learning: Many women are proactive in lifelong learning through digital platforms and encourage their children to learn programming and participate in STEM projects early to prepare for a technological future.

3. Enhance time management skills and family interaction through technology
- Use family task management tools: Applications like Google Calendar and Trello help you organize your personal and family time and tasks more effectively.
- Create an online bonding space: Spend time playing family games online or sharing photos and memories online to increase connection.
In Finland, mothers focus on early digital education in the family. They often encourage their children to take programming thinking courses through applications such as Scratch or Minecraft Education Edition. The Korean government provides many digital skills training materials for mothers and supports technology skills training programs in the community. Many families in the US encourage children to use technology devices but limit the time through screen time control applications such as Google's Family Link... while in Japan, women often use technology to tell stories or teach life skills through educational applications. Methods that combine modern technology and traditional values are also being invested heavily to develop in the digital education environment in the "Land of the Rising Sun".
Thus, when women approach digital transformation with an open mind, constantly learning and carefully selecting smart technology tools, technology is an opportunity for women to reduce the burden of housework while maintaining the role of smart leaders for sustainable development for themselves and their families.
