Hoa Lu District Department of Education and Training donates books and supplies to support students in flood-affected areas.

Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 1143 dated September 12, 2024 of the Department of Education and Training (DoET) of Ninh Binh on donating books, notebooks, and school supplies to support students in flood-affected areas, the Department of Education and Training of Hoa Lu district calls on managers, teachers, staff, and parents of students in the entire sector to join hands and contribute to support and help schools and students in flood-affected areas on a voluntary basis.

From the launch (September 12) to September 15, 33/33 primary and secondary schools, 16 private children's groups in the district sent support: 39,906 squared notebooks for primary school students; 4,631 pencils; 18,029 secondary school pens; 25,840 lined notebooks; 186 cartons of mineral water; 217 cartons of milk; 82 new school bags; 453 red flag shirts with yellow stars... along with many sets of clothes, textbooks, essential necessities, and various medicines with a total value of 872,882,000 VND.

Books, supplies and necessities have been gathered at the Multi-purpose Hall of Ninh Giang Secondary School for sorting and packaging. On the morning of September 17, the first truck carrying books, supplies and necessities from the Hoa Lu District Department of Education and Training departed for Lao Cai Province to promptly support the local Department of Education and Training in overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3.

This is the first trip of the Ninh Binh Department of Education and Training to transport books, school supplies, and essential necessities to flood-affected areas to help students have more conditions to return to school soon and stabilize their lives. Thereby demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and support, the tradition of "the rich help the poor" of the nation.
