TPO - According to the investor, the biggest difficulty currently affecting the progress of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway component 2 project is the supply of land for filling.
On February 13, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and a Government delegation inspected the progress of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project in the section passing through Dong Nai province.

The working delegation inspected the site at the intersection with route T1 connecting Long Thanh International Airport (airport) under component project 2 invested by Management Board 85 - Ministry of Transport (MOT).
According to Project Management Board 85, for component project 2, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project, the project output has reached 26%. The biggest difficulty currently in construction on the route is still the supply of land for leveling.
The project is lacking about 3 million m3 of fill. Therefore, the investor and contractors have requested Dong Nai province to approve lowering the excavation site in Phuoc Binh commune, Long Thanh district to increase the excavation output for construction.

Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee said it has worked with relevant agencies to resolve the issue of land filling for the project. Currently, the province is speeding up the completion of procedures to grant licenses to exploit new locations to serve the project's construction.
Regarding the project investor's proposal, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha requested Dong Nai province's authorities to consider lowering the ground level of the land exploitation location in Phuoc Binh commune, but not to create a deep foundation, not to create a concave or convex position, but only to lower the level to match the surrounding terrain. The Deputy Prime Minister also requested Dong Nai province to speed up the completion of procedures for granting permits for land exploitation and leveling at the locations to ensure supply for the project.
