On February 5, a representative of the Organizing Committee of Thach Ha District Party Committee (Ha Tinh) said that although he still had more than 9 years of work, Mr. Nguyen Van Huy (born in 1973), Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee of Thach Ha District Party Committee, had submitted an application for early retirement to create conditions for the organization to reorganize and streamline the apparatus.

According to the Organizing Committee of Thach Ha District Party Committee, before the merger of Loc Ha and Thach Ha districts, Mr. Huy held the position of Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Thach Ha District Party Committee. After the merger, Mr. Huy was a member of the Standing Committee and was appointed to the position of Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Thach Ha District Party Committee.

"Mr. Huy's resignation will create favorable conditions for the organization to arrange and assign staff, creating opportunities for young people to work. When submitting his resignation, Mr. Huy was very comfortable and supported the policy," said a representative of the Organizing Committee of Thach Ha District Party Committee.

Also according to the representative of the Organizing Committee of Thach Ha District Party Committee, based on Decree 178, Mr. Huy's temporary leave of absence will be supported with about 2.3 billion VND.

According to his retirement application, Mr. Huy is currently receiving a salary of nearly 22 million VND. The requested retirement date is October 2025.

Implementing the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units in the 2023-2025 period of Ha Tinh province, from January 1, 2025, 11 communes and towns of Loc Ha district will be merged into Thach Ha district (Loc Ha district no longer exists).

According to the leader of Thach Ha District Party Committee, after the policy of merging Loc Ha district into Thach Ha district, the whole district has about 60 redundant civil servants, not including public employees. Of these, about 39 civil servants belong to the government sector, the rest belong to party agencies and mass organizations.

Up to now, there are about 45 civil servants and public employees of Thach Ha district who have applied for early retirement.
