Since the beginning of the week, the price of plain gold rings has been adjusted to increase sharply and continuously set new peaks, in the context of the precious metal on the international market exceeding 2,840 USD/ounce and approaching the God of Fortune's day.
Today (February 5), the domestic price of plain gold rings has officially reached 91 million VND/tael, the highest level ever.
Specifically, at 9:43 a.m. on February 5, Doji Gold and Gemstone Group raised the price of 9999 gold rings to VND88.8-91 million/tael (buy - sell). This is a record price for plain gold rings in the domestic market.
This price increased by 900 thousand VND per tael for buying and 1 million VND per tael for selling compared to the end of yesterday's trading session.
However, by noon today, Doji Gold and Gemstone Group had reduced the buying price of 9999 gold rings to 88.2 million VND/tael, down 600 thousand VND per tael, while keeping the selling price unchanged at 91 million VND/tael.
From the beginning of the week until today, the price of 9999 gold rings at Doji has increased by 1.7 million VND per tael for buying and increased by 2.9 million VND per tael for selling.
Similarly, Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) today also adjusted the price of plain gold rings of 1-5 chi to 88-90.5 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 400 thousand VND per tael in the buying direction and an increase of 900 thousand VND per tael in the selling direction compared to the end of yesterday's trading session.
After 3 sessions, the price of SJC plain gold rings has increased by 1.7 million VND/tael for buying and is 2.5 million VND/tael more expensive for selling.
Following the same trend, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company today increased the price of Thang Long Dragon gold rings to 88.2-90.95 million VND/tael (buy - sell).
From the beginning of the week until today, the price of Thang Long gold rings increased by 1.6 million VND/tael in buying and increased by 2.05 million VND/tael in selling.
Phu Nhuan Jewelry Company (PNJ) this morning also raised the price of plain gold rings to 88.2-90.7 million VND/tael.
Since the beginning of the week, the price of plain gold rings at PNJ has increased by 1.6 million VND/tael for buying and is 2.6 million VND/tael more expensive for selling.

The difference between buying and selling prices of gold bars has widened to 3 million VND per tael.
The price of gold bars and gold rings at SJC is currently the same for buying. On the selling side, the price of gold rings at SJC is only 500 thousand VND per tael lower than that of gold bars.
Meanwhile, at Doji, the selling price of gold bars and gold rings is equal. On the buying price, the price of gold rings is currently 200,000 VND per tael higher than the price of gold bars.
