Tens of thousands of people commented that the film was better than expected, surpassing their imagination of the legend of Na Tra causing chaos in the ocean. The Ber account received more than 12,000 likes when writing a review: "The mythological story is told in a way that fits the times. Part one is about overcoming fate, part two is about throwing away rules and prejudices. Good and evil are not related to race. Than Cong Bao has his loyalty and steadfastness, the gods have the selfishness of gods. Overcoming the old rules, the truth will be discovered. On the surface, the film is about a ghost boy causing chaos in the ocean, but hidden behind are modern issues."
The content continues from part one (2019), after the disaster, Na Tra and Ngao Binh (son of Dong Hai Long Vuong) kept their souls but their bodies would be destroyed in a short time. Tien Thai At Chan Nhan planned to use the seven-colored lotus flower to help Na Tra and Ngao Binh unite their souls and bodies. But at this time, Na Tra faced a new enemy.
Part one, Na Tra: Demon Boy Comes to the World , released summer 2019, also success grossing 5 billion yuan ($682 million), it ranked fourth in the country's box office history. Both were directed by Sui Cao (born in 1980, real name Yang Yu). Initially, the work was not highly regarded by investors, and dozens of large companies refused to cooperate. The director had to divide the special effects scenes for 20 small and medium-sized companies to handle, then combine them. Parts one and two each took five years to make.
