At Lang Son province, delegate Chu Thi Hong Thai questioned the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development about building brands for Vietnamese agricultural products. According to the delegate, building brands for Vietnamese agricultural products is an important issue. However, many experts say that currently, up to 80% of Vietnamese agricultural products exported abroad do not have brands, mainly raw exports... The delegate asked the Minister to clarify the causes and solutions to build brands for Vietnamese agricultural products, thereby establishing export markets and increasing labor productivity in the coming time.
Responding to the opinion of delegate Chu Thi Hong Thai, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development said: We have many agricultural product brands that stand on the world market. To achieve that position is a process in which businesses persistently build their brands, like the coffee and rice industries. Currently, the ministry is building a brand for the durian industry and continues to implement specific solutions to build brands for Vietnamese agricultural products.
