On the morning of February 19, the People's Committee of Lang Son province held a conference to announce the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on the establishment and reorganization of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee and the Decisions of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on personnel work.
Accordingly, the resolution establishes 6 specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee, including: Establishing the Department of Finance on the basis of merging the Department of Planning and Investment and the Department of Finance; Department of Construction on the basis of merging the Department of Transport and the Department of Construction; Department of Agriculture and Environment on the basis of merging the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; Department of Science and Technology on the basis of merging the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Science and Technology; Department of Home Affairs on the basis of merging the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Department of Home Affairs; Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions on the basis of the Ethnic Minorities Committee receiving additional functions, tasks, and organization of the state management apparatus on beliefs and religions from the Department of Home Affairs.
Resolution of the People's Council of Lang Son province on reorganizing specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee. Specifically, the Department of Industry and Trade receives the original status of the Local Market Management Department from the Ministry of Industry and Trade and reorganizes it into the Market Management Department under the Department of Industry and Trade. The Department of Health receives the functions and tasks of state management of social protection - children; prevention and control of social evils from the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism takes over the state management function of press and publishing from the Department of Information and Communications. The Department of Education and Training takes over the state management function and task of vocational education from the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs. The Department of Justice transfers the state management task of criminal records and the provision of criminal records from the Department of Justice to the Provincial Police... Maintain specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee including: Provincial Inspectorate, Provincial People's Committee Office, Department of Foreign Affairs.
The conference also announced the decisions to appoint leadership positions of the Department of Finance: Director is Mr. Phan Hong Tien; Deputy Directors include Mr. Vu Duc Thinh, Ha Manh Cuong, Hua Thi Hang Duong Thi Hoan, Nguyen Duy Anh, Ha Manh Cuong, Nguyen Anh Yen.
The Director of the Department of Construction of Lang Son province is Mr. Duong Cong Vy; the Deputy Directors include Mr. Nguyen Duy Dong, Truong Trung Hieu, Ha Vu Khoi, Hoang Viet Dong, Hoang Khanh Du, and Tran Van Vuong.
The Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of the province is Mr. Nguyen Huu Chien; the Deputy Directors are Mr. Vi Nong Truong; Chu Van Thach, Nguyen Huu Truc, Trieu Duc Minh; Dinh Thi Thu, Hoang Van Chieu, Vu Van Thinh.
The Director of the Department of Science and Technology of the province is Mr. Nguyen Trong Hung; the Deputy Directors include Mr. and Mrs. Tran Quoc Anh, Be Thi Thu Hien; Tran Huu Giang, Phuong Thi Huong Lan.
Department of Home Affairs has Deputy Directors: Hoang Anh Tuan, Linh Van Hung, Cao Minh Tuan, Hoang Thi Hai, Nguyen Van Giang.
The Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions is Mr. Pham Duc Huan; the Deputy Directors include Mr. and Mrs. Ly Van Khi, Lam Van Vien, and Nguyen Van Luc.
The People's Committee of Lang Son province also announced the decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Nguyen Quoc Toan, Director of the Department of Finance to the position of Head of the Management Board of Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone; Ms. Le Hai Yen, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications to the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province.
