Construction Corporation No. 1 - JSC (CC1) was established in 1979 as a contractor for construction projects. Previously, CC1 was known as a "giant" in the field of construction of key national projects in the fields of energy (including hydropower, thermal power), industry (oil refineries, cement factories...) and outstanding architectural works across the country.
Since 2005, CC1 has begun to enter the field of transportation - technical infrastructure with its first project: Thu Thiem Bridge - a prominent project on the Saigon River and considered an architectural symbol of Ho Chi Minh City from Vietnamese intelligence.

CC1's strength in construction and installation of transport infrastructure and engineering is considered a "fish in water" when, after two years of interruption due to the Covid-19 pandemic, 2023 is considered a pivotal year for public investment when the Government focuses on promoting disbursement for a series of transport infrastructure projects.
Specifically, in the first 6 months of 2023, CC1 was continuously included in the consortium of contractors participating in many public investment projects, notably 4 bid packages of the North-South expressway construction component project in the eastern phase 2021-2025 including the sections: Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh; Chi Thanh - Van Phong; Can Tho - Hau Giang and Hau Giang - Ca Mau.
Most recently, CC1 continued to be awarded contracts to carry out a number of packages on the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau, Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressways and component project 1 of the Chau Doc - Can Tho - Soc Trang expressway construction investment project (Phase 1).
As a member of the consortium of contractors participating in the construction of "T3 Passenger Terminal - Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Package No. 12) and "Package 5.10 - Passenger Terminal - Long Thanh International Airport (Phase 1)", in the coming time, CC1 identifies that transportation and technical infrastructure will be one of the key areas that CC1 aims to develop, expand construction and investment. Thereby, contributing to the completion of the national infrastructure system, promoting and enhancing economic exchanges between regions, creating conditions for socio-economic development of localities in particular and the whole country in general.
