Cambodia, the host country of the 12th ASEAN Para Games, has received much praise for its organizational capacity and efforts in hosting the event for the first time.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 12th ASEAN Para Games, President of the ASEAN Para Sports Federation (APSF) Osoth Bhavilai emphasized: “Over the past week, we have witnessed wonderful images of encouragement, support and enthusiastic cheering for athletes with disabilities. As the host, Cambodia has shown its strength to achieve great success in its first-ever hosting of the ASEAN Para Games."
On behalf of APSF, Mr. Osoth Bhavila sent his congratulations and thanks to the Royal Government of Cambodia, the National ASEAN Para Games Organizing Committee (CAMAPGOC) of the host country, members of the organizing committee, domestic and international technical officials, and sports federations who joined hands to create success and unforgettable memories at this regional sports event.
Mr. Osoth Bhavila thanked and warmly congratulated the disabled athletes, emphasizing that they were the true winners; and thanked the volunteers for bringing joy, warmth and the deepest friendship.
The APSF President also thanked the fans and Cambodian people for their support and motivation for the disabled athletes to compete successfully.
Previously, Ms. Wandee Tosuwan, Secretary General of APSF, also praised Cambodia's efforts in successfully hosting the 12th ASEAN Para Games, and expressed hope that from this success, Cambodia will aim to host international sports events for people with disabilities in the near future.
