As one of the enthusiastic members of the association movement and economic development in Tam Ky City, Ms. Huynh Thi Thu Thuy - Deputy Director of Ba Ba Hoi Cooperative said that on her entrepreneurial journey, she met and cooperated with many women. They have sympathy and understanding for each other, so becoming production and business partners is also very favorable.
In her role as Vice President of the Quang Nam Women Entrepreneurs Association, Ms. Thuy has continuously researched, consulted and supported members. With her experience in producing agricultural and food products for export, Ms. Thuy does not hesitate to share her unit's methods and operating models for other women to learn from.
"As women, we understand the common advantages and difficulties when starting a business. In addition to women's perseverance and hard work, women also face a lot of pressure when producing and doing business, so we actively support each other to develop. Ba Ba Hoi Cooperative itself has been cooperating with many member units in the branch to strive to export Quang Nam agricultural products to the world market," said Ms. Thuy.

According to Ms. Nguy Nhu Thi Bich Tram - Head of the Quang Nam Women Entrepreneurs Association, the main goal of the association is to create a new environment for women to start businesses, establish careers and develop the economy. In particular, it focuses on supporting production and business activities, linking to develop markets and especially training, sharing knowledge and experience with each other to limit risks.
Recently, the Quang Nam Women Entrepreneurs Association participated in the TOT training program "Her Mentor Women Start-up Support" conducted by Catalyste (Canada) in Da Nang City. This is an intensive training program to enhance the capacity and support the development of female entrepreneurs, such as leadership skills, business management, personal brand development, building customer relationships and applying technology in business.
The Quang Nam Women Entrepreneurs Association also had a working session with Stitching Oxfam Novib, a prestigious international organization from the UK specializing in funding business initiatives to enhance the role of women in employment and promote green transformation. The association was directly consulted, shared and learned about the criteria and opportunities to receive funding from the 5 million Euro fund supported by Oxfam Novib. A total of 65 projects will be funded, with support ranging from 50 - 60 thousand Euros for each project, focusing on innovative and sustainable solutions in business.
Spreading the spirit of entrepreneurship
Ms. Tram said that in the short time since its establishment, the Quang Nam Women Entrepreneurs Association has implemented many meaningful and practical activities from promoting community movements, caring for members' lives, strengthening international cooperation, to training and supporting members.
In addition to business support, the association also pays special attention to social responsibility through volunteer activities, spreading a profound humanitarian spirit to disadvantaged areas, not only supporting people but also demonstrating the association's commitment to accompanying the comprehensive development of the community.

Speaking at the 2024 summary program of the Quang Nam Women Entrepreneurs Association on the morning of December 28, Mr. Pham Ngoc Sinh - Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology and Head of the Provincial Creative Startup Support Executive Board said that more than 70% of startup projects in the province in recent years have been led by women. This proves that Quang Nam women have a very good spirit of hard work, improvement and innovation.
"However, in the coming time, we hope that female entrepreneurs in the province must always maintain the entrepreneurial spirit, constantly innovate and develop. At the same time, they also need to learn from each other's experiences and participate in training programs so as not to fall behind other economic sectors. Women entrepreneurs must truly unite with each other, form a unified entity, support each other in production, business, and share the market when they have products with the same customer base," said Mr. Sinh.

The 6th Quang Nam Creative Startup Week - Techfest Quang Nam 2025 will be held in Hoi An City, scheduled from June 11 to 15, 2025. Mr. Pham Ngoc Sinh said that out of a total of 250 booths displaying and introducing creative startup products and products serving tourism development, 30 booths will be assigned to the Quang Nam Women Entrepreneurs Association.
