Gia Lai agricultural products exploded, after 2 days of livestream, 12.7 thousand orders were received

After 2 days of livestreaming at the program "Proud of Vietnamese Goods", 12.7 thousand orders were received for typical agricultural products of Gia Lai province.


TikTok has just announced that in the third quarter of 2024, along with the rise of the Shoppertainment wave, shopping via livestream has clearly affirmed its role in the commercial and marketing activities of businesses, especially local sellers.

In the third quarter of 2024, TikTok launched impressive campaigns, most recently, the livestream session "Proud of Vietnamese goods" with the theme "Gia Lai flavor, Central Highlands specialties" took place on October 9 and 10, attracting the participation of a series of creators such as @huyenphi_97, @thiennhanreview.

After 2 days of livestreaming, the campaign successfully collected 12.7 thousand orders for typical agricultural products of Gia Lai province such as Phuong Di multi-flower honey, Huy Vu dried beef, and Le Chi pepper.

“Proud of Vietnamese Products” is one of the outstanding initiatives of TikTok Shop in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency, the Vietnam E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency, and the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM), aiming to equip skills and support digital transformation for the community of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and Vietnamese small traders.

The impressive results of the two livestream sessions of this event also showed the prospects of local sellers in innovating business thinking and equipping skills for digital transformation.

In addition, within the framework of the conference "Connecting supply and demand between Ho Chi Minh City and provinces in 2024", the "Mega LIVE Vietnamese goods - Typical OCOP products" session organized by TikTok Shop with the participation of 19 content creators, contributed to promoting more than 200 products from more than 45 provinces and cities, focusing on specialty products, OCOP products such as Can Gio island bird's nest, Tra Vinh wax coconut, Gia Lai honey, Dam Doi Ca Mau crab, Hai Phong lamppost pate,... At the end of the campaign, more than 50 LIVE sessions were held, attracting more than 24.5 million views and generating nearly 7,600 orders.

In response to National Digital Transformation Day, the event "Meeting of TikTok Shop and businesses, OCOP Ca Mau subjects" took place on October 4, 2024, organized by the Center for Investment Promotion and Enterprise Support of Ca Mau province in coordination with many organizations, including TikTok Vietnam.

The event was attended by 12 businesses with 21 typical OCOP products of Ca Mau province and content creators on TikTok. Although it was the first time that OCOP subjects in Ca Mau province participated, the livestream market event reached over 308 thousand people with more than 1,400 orders sold.
