Ninh Hai is ready for Ninh Binh Tourism Week

When the rice fields on the Ngo Dong River of the Tam Coc wonder begin to turn golden, it is also the time when the people of Ninh Hai (Hoa Lu) are excitedly preparing for Ninh Binh Tourism Week with the theme "The Golden Color of Tam Coc - Trang An". This is not only a unique annual tourism product but also the pride of the people of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu.

As one of the localities located in the core area of Trang An World Heritage, Ninh Hai commune is honored to own the wonder of Tam Coc, where every year in late May and early June, the golden ripe rice fields run along the foot of the mountain, creating a beautiful picture on both sides of the Ngo Dong River and has been honored as one of the 5 most beautiful rice fields in Vietnam.

Ninh Hai people have also been proud of and exploited the strengths of the landscape, living environment, wet rice farming practices, traditional folk rituals... to turn them into unique tourism products "one of a kind" in Northern Vietnam. Over time, domestic and international tourists have been waiting for this tourism product of Ninh Hai people.

Mrs. Doan Thi Hau, who is busy taking care of the Tam Coc rice fields, happily said: We are very proud of our homeland, especially the rice fields that were previously only planted for food purposes but are now loved by tourists from all over the world. Following the guidance of the government, we have organized planting of seeds, tea fields... to make the rice fields grow more beautifully. My family is also honored to cultivate in the area that creates the picture, so we focus on taking care of the rice plants carefully, ensuring the technique. Currently, the rice has bloomed evenly and is entering the drying stage. It is expected to be fully ripe by the end of May.

Ninh Hai is ready for Ninh Binh Tourism Week — People take care of the landscape of Hang Hai area - where many activities of Tourism Week take place.

According to the plan, this year's Tourism Week will organize a walking street and food market from Dong Gung Bus Station to Hoa Nam Restaurant (Van Lam Village, Ninh Hai Commune, Hoa Lu District). These days, families living along the route from Dong Gung Bus Station to Tam Coc are actively participating in the peak period of cleaning up the village roads, alleys, and landscapes to contribute to beautifying their homeland.

Ms. Lan, a resident of Ninh Hai commune, said: We realize that this work not only brings a civilized and clean living environment to the people but also brings beautiful scenery to the tourism environment, contributing to promoting Tam Coc-Bich Dong tourist area to domestic and foreign tourists.

To carry out the assigned tasks, Ninh Hai commune has coordinated with the district's functional departments to review and supplement the lighting system in the areas where events take place during the Tourism Week. At the same time, the commune has coordinated with Xuan Truong Construction Enterprise to move the sales kiosks at the boat dock area to clear the ground for the Opening Ceremony; build a map and location for organizing events and activities during the Tourism Week; guide and support people in the Tam Coc - Bich Dong area to cultivate and harvest rice, ensuring compliance with the time of the Tourism Week.

Mr. Vu Huy Toan, Chairman of Ninh Hai Commune People's Committee, said: To prepare for Ninh Binh Tourism Week, Ninh Hai Commune has launched a campaign to clean up the environment, tidy up the roadsides, remove old and damaged billboards, trim trees along the main road from Dong Gung Bus Station to Ninh Hai Commune Market and other roads in the tourist area to serve tourists attending the Tourism Week. Actively promote the people, tourists and tourism businesses to maintain environmental hygiene and comply with security and order regulations in the tourist area.

Ninh Hai Commune also regularly directs the Commune Police to organize the rectification of traffic safety corridors, collect advertising billboards that encroach on the roadway and sidewalks, and are not placed in the right places; coordinate with Ninh Thang Commune to ensure environmental sanitation, tidy up, and create clean and beautiful landscapes in residential areas, especially the route from Cau Vom Intersection to areas where events and activities take place during the Tourism Week. Strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to be civilized and polite in serving tourists; resolutely and strictly handle acts of people forcing tourists to take photos, forcing tourists to buy goods, asking for tips, etc., creating a friendly and civilized impression in the eyes of tourists.
