As the National Day holiday begins on September 2, cinemas are filled with quality films, from highly anticipated domestic films to action and horror blockbusters from Hollywood.

The most anticipated Vietnamese film of the holiday season is Hai Muoi. The film marks the return to the screen of “national MC” Quyen Linh as an actor after two decades. Quyen Linh will play the role of Mr. Hai, who makes a living by making salt in Thieng Lieng hamlet. In the difficult situation of a “single father raising children”, Mr. Hai’s family life has repeatedly fallen into a deadlock. When his daughter Muoi (Huynh Bao Ngoc) grows up and goes to the city to study at university, the difference in views on escaping poverty between father and daughter causes a series of incidents to occur.

Hai Muoi with the family love genre through a simple story will certainly bring many emotions and tears to the audience on the occasion of September 2nd. The film features nearly 40 actors with many familiar names such as: People's Artist Hong Van, People's Artist Viet Anh, artist Quyen Linh, Meritorious Artist Cong Ninh, actors Minh Luan, Tran Kim Hai, Huynh Bao Ngoc, Ngo Phuong Anh, Tu Tri, Nam Cha... On September 6, Thai cinema will continue to treat audiences to a feast of endless laughter with “Xuyen khong cai menh gia toc” (English title: Chinatown Cha Cha). The main character of the film is archaeology student Kie (Mint Ranchrawee), born into a Chinese family in Chinatown. Underneath his friendly exterior, Patrick, with his cruel and insane nature, is plotting something terrifying. Strange events continuously occur, making Ben's family feel uneasy, wanting to leave this place as soon as possible.

Besides the movies above 13+, the new movie for kids is also worth watching during the holidays. Gracie And Pedro: Pets To The Rescue will be an exciting journey with two lovely pet friends. One day, the family of the dog Gracie and the cat Pedro moved to a new house. However, while checking in at the airport, the two accidentally got separated from their family.
