Before the festival, in March, Tam Ky City launched a writing contest about Sua flowers and the festival "Tam Ky - Sua flower season 2024" and the contest "Green Tea Fragrance - friendly and hospitable".
In addition, Huong Tra eco-village has established “Sac sua” check-in areas to serve the needs of tourists for sightseeing and taking photos. In addition, Tam Ky Children’s Creativity Festival with lantern and pinwheel design competitions, etc. are displayed on the streets and in the garden areas.
The festival is held from April 5 to 13, with the main focus on April 5-7.
On April 5, a series of major events and activities took place simultaneously, such as the opening of the festival "Tam Ky - Sua flower season 2024", the ceremony to announce the decision and receive the certificate of recognition of the Vietnamese heritage tree "Complex of 9 Sua trees in Huong Tra village", the contest "Miss Vietnam of the Era season 2", and the opening of the Huong Tra village festival.
On April 6, there will be a Ao Dai festival and an Olympic run; and on April 7, there will be a traditional boat race and a Bai Choi performance...
Specifically, the festival has the following events and activities:
1. Launching a writing contest about Sua flowers, the festival “Tam Ky - Sua flower season 2024” and the contest “Green Tea Fragrance - friendly, hospitable”. At Huong Tra Eco-Village, “Sac Sua” check-in areas are established to serve the needs of tourists for sightseeing and taking photos.
2. Children's art exhibition and display activities at Cua Garden and ornamental plant display at Huong Tra communal house.
3. Experience Huong Tra eco-village with an experience space for teenagers and a souvenir workshop booth.
4. Tam Ky Children's Creativity Festival with lantern and pinwheel design contests, displayed on streets and garden areas.
5. Visit and experience garden houses, homestays, river views, moon viewing and flower gardens (buckwheat, sunflowers, butterflies, bougainvillea, etc.) in Ca Ban village (Tam Ngoc commune).
6. Ceremony to announce the decision and receive the certificate of recognition of the Vietnamese heritage tree "Complex of 9 rosewood trees in Huong Tra village".
7. Competition to learn about preventing child abuse in the online environment at Vuon Cua in the form of dramatization (plays, skits...) with the participation of students from secondary schools in the city.
8. Huong Tra village festival and sports activities at Huong Tra communal house and Hoa Huong ward stadium.
9. Opening program of the festival "Tam Ky - Sua flower season 2024" with the participation of singers Tang Duy Tan, Ho Nhat Duy, Vu Phung Tien, Khanh An, famous singer Ngoc Son...
10. The semi-finals of the contest "Miss Vietnam Era 2024 Season 2" took place right after the opening ceremony.
11. Traditional Ao Dai Festival with the participation of women's union members from 13 communes and wards of Tam Ky City.
12. Village chess competition at Huong Tra communal house.
13. Launching activities to compose songs about Tam Ky towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Tam Ky homeland (March 24, 1975 - March 24, 2025).
14. Calligraphy contest, a healthy and useful playground for those who love the art of calligraphy and have talent to demonstrate their abilities.
15. Festival of youth groups, clubs and committees of the city's youth.
16. "Discover Huong Tra" race with the route from the gate of the Provincial Sports and Physical Training Center to Hoa Huong Ward Stadium.
17. Tam Ky traditional men's and women's boat racing tournament opened with the participation of racing boats from communes, wards of the city and localities.
18. Art contest "Tam Ky children with nature conservation and biodiversity".
19. Bai Choi art performance program with the participation of actors from Quang Nam Opera and Drama Troupe and Tam Ky Bai Choi Club.
20. The 2024 Tam Ky Open Club Cycling Tournament is expected to attract about 300 athletes from grassroots cycling clubs and cycling enthusiast groups inside and outside the province.
