English certificate according to 6-level Vstep KNLNN
The Vstep 6-level English certificate is recognized by the Vietnamese government and is widely used in many professions, including teachers, doctors, civil servants and public employees.
At the same time, this certificate is being used by most universities across the country to consider graduation for students.
According to regulations, the Vstep 6-level English Certificate includes 6 levels, from A1 to C2. The lowest level is A1 and the highest is C2. However, this certificate is not regularly organized and only a few units are allowed to organize it.
IELTS English Certificate
IELTS is the abbreviation for International English Language Testing System - the most important international certificate today, used to assess English language skills, including Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing.
The IELTS test has two main formats: the Academic format for undergraduate and postgraduate students and the General format for those studying a trade or planning to live and work in English-speaking countries.
IELTS uses a scale from 0 to 9 to assess English proficiency and each score corresponds to a different level, from proficient (9.0) to unable to take the test (0).
However, the cost of IELTS preparation and testing is much higher than other types of certificates.
TOEIC English Certificate
TOEIC English certificate is suitable for those who use English in their daily work and is required by many recruiting companies. Students studying commerce and tourism should consider owning this type of certificate.
TOEIC consists of two parts: Listening and Reading. In addition, you can choose to add Speaking and Writing sections. The score for this type of certificate ranges from 0 to 990, reflecting the level from basic to fluent.
TOEFL English Certificate
The TOEFL English certificate is issued by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) and is widely recognized around the world. There are two main versions: TOEFL iBT (online) and TOEFL PBT (traditional paper-based).
With this type of certificate, you will be assessed for your English proficiency through 4 skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing (TOEFL iBT) or three parts: Listening Comprehension, Structure and Grammar, Reading Comprehension (TOEFL PBT).
In addition to the student version, the TOEFL English certificate has versions for both children and students.
SAT/ACT English Certificate
The SAT is an important test for those who want to study abroad in the United States. This test is organized by the College Board, a non-profit organization. The SAT includes Reading, Language, Mathematics and Writing skills.
The total time for the SAT test is 3 hours (or 3 hours and 50 minutes if you choose to do the essay section). The minimum score is 400 and the maximum score is 1600.
