Although the traffic volume on the streets decreased in the evening, it was easy to see the difficulty of traffic participants moving on the flooded roads. Many vehicles were stalled.

Reporters at the scene recorded that the deepest flooded area was Vo Nguyen Giap Street, from the red light intersection at the beginning of Truong Chinh Street to the roundabout in the city center. At peak times, there was a section of water about 1 meter deep. On Truong Chinh Street, near Central Market 3, the accumulated rainwater created a rapid flow like a stream.

Flooding and rising water during heavy rains have brought mud, soil and garbage to the sidewalks and into people's houses. Many families in low-lying areas have had to mobilize manpower to raise their furniture and electrical equipment to avoid damage...

By 11pm, after the rain had stopped, the water level on flooded streets had decreased. However, on Vo Nguyen Giap Street, from the red light intersection at the beginning of Truong Chinh Street to the roundabout in the city center, the water level was still high, so people were still unable to clean up and vehicles were not able to pass through this section of the road.

Many motorbikes parked on the sidewalk were submerged in water.
