Many schools in Ninh Binh remain closed due to floods

Mr. Dinh Van Kham - Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ninh Binh province said that currently, due to the widespread heavy rain causing flooding in many places in the province, many roads have been flooded and the water is flowing rapidly.

Units and schools have closely followed the directive documents on focusing on responding to the flood situation caused by storm No. 3, closely monitoring the development of the flood to proactively respond. Strengthening inspection and reviewing plans to ensure the safety of facilities, having plans to prevent floods, landslides in mountainous areas, and inundation in low-lying, low-lying and urban areas.

To ensure the safety of students, as of September 13, in Ninh Binh province, 86/477 educational institutions have proactively allowed students to stay home from school until the flood recedes, of which 64 schools had to let all students stay home from school.
