Many experts believe that to preserve heritage, countries must look at resources in a diverse way, not just in the financial field; identify people as the center, the goal of sustainable development, and enhance sustainable livelihoods for people in heritage areas...
Opinions also focused on how to get the cooperation of local communities to participate in environmental protection and heritage protection; emphasizing that this is the most important resource. At the same time, conservation should not only focus on the core heritage area but also need specific planning for the buffer zone.
Expecting to create broader cooperation on a national, regional and global scale from this Conference, experts also emphasized the need for more specific solutions to apply valuable experiences and effective lessons of member countries in managing world heritage.
