The Youth Union of Can Tho City Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital recently visited and presented gifts to students of Tuong Lai School. The delegation presented more than 170 gifts, including essential items such as milk, leather bags, school supplies and 40 million VND in cash. Thereby, showing practical concern and sharing, contributing to supporting students with difficult circumstances on their learning path; at the same time, spreading the spirit of humanity, social responsibility, demonstrating the pioneering and volunteering role of young people in the medical sector.

Dr. Nguyen Thuy Thuy Ai, Director of the Hospital, shared: “We hope that through this activity, we can contribute to spreading love and sharing with students in special circumstances. This is also an opportunity to raise awareness among health workers in building a better society.”
Young doctors from Can Tho Children's Hospital also organized a journey to connect love to the community. The Hospital's Volunteer Doctors Team and accompanying units organized medical examinations, distributed medicine and gave gifts to more than 200 children in difficult circumstances in Vinh My Ward, Chau Doc City, An Giang Province. The goal of the program is not only to contribute to community health care but also to spread the spirit of compassion, bringing medical knowledge to people in remote, isolated and border areas.

Previously, in mid-March 2025, the Youth Union of Can Tho Children's Hospital coordinated with Can Tho Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital to organize a Voluntary Blood Donation Festival. Nearly 70 union members and trade union members of the hospital participated in donating blood in the spirit of sharing and helping patients who need blood for treatment. Thereby, promoting the blood donation movement in the community, joining hands to share drops of red blood to save many lives; at the same time, contributing to building a beautiful image of the medical profession.
