On the afternoon of March 3, Mr. Tran Vinh - Chairman of Tan Hop Commune (Huong Hoa District, Quang Tri) - confirmed that a truck had just caused an accident in the area, overturned, and spilled goods. After the incident, local residents and police officers assisted the driver in cleaning up the goods.
Specifically, at around 3:30 p.m. on March 2, truck with license plate 74C-034.xx driven by driver Tran Ngoc Hung (30 years old) headed from Lao Bao town to Dong Ha city.
When the truck reached Luong Le slope on Highway 9, passing through Tan Hop commune, the brakes failed. The truck crashed into an empty lot on the side of the road.
The truck overturned, causing hundreds of crates of Red Bull to fall, many crates were damaged, and the outer paper crates were broken. Fortunately, the driver was not injured, and no one else was on the road at the time of the incident.
Afterwards, people from Luong Le village, along with officers and soldiers at the detention house of Huong Hoa district police and Tan Hop commune police, assisted the driver in cleaning up the spilled goods.
"A short time later, the intact goods were neatly packed away, and the driver thanked the people and police officers," Mr. Tran Vinh informed.

Previously, on January 13, a truck carrying sticky rice also caused an accident on National Highway 9, passing through Dakrong Commune (Dakrong District). After the incident, many locals and passersby took the bags of sticky rice home without permission. A day later, with the encouragement of the authorities, the people returned the bags of sticky rice to the driver.
