"This is the first time I have seen such a beautiful row of pink trumpet flowers," said Nguyen Nhu Nga, 23, a resident of My Tho City. Having a hobby of taking pictures and collecting beautiful angles, Nga said she was fascinated by the rows of pink trumpet flowers, especially during the days when the flowers were in full bloom, so she was present at Rach Mieu Bridge for many days to take pictures.

Unlike other rows of pink trumpet flowers in the West, the beauty of the row of pink trumpet flowers in My Tho city is also enhanced by the poetic Tien river next to it, and in the distance is the massive, modern Rach Mieu bridge.

In recent days, the park along the Tien River, below Rach Mieu Bridge, has become more bustling with hundreds, even thousands of people coming every day to take pictures and enjoy the beauty of the rows of pink trumpet flowers.

Ms. Le Thi Be Phuong - Vice Chairman of My Tho City - said that the entire My Tho City has about 80 - 90 pink trumpet flowers.

Some streets have trees planted such as Truong Vinh Ky, Le Van Pham, Pham Thanh, especially the area of the Tien River embankment of Hoang Sa street (under Rach Mieu bridge and Lac Hong flower garden).

"Currently, the locality is also considering a plan to re-plan the tree system on the roads. My Tho City is also consulting with officials and people to plant pink trumpet flowers on some inner-city roads to create more beauty for the streets, as well as attract tourists and people to visit," said Ms. Phuong.
