The Trade Delegation of the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea will invite Korean culinary experts to Ca Mau to research and develop crab dishes.
On December 3, Mr. Le Van Su, Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee, had a working session with the Trade Delegation of the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea.
At the meeting, representatives of the Trade Delegation, the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea and Korean enterprises wished to seek investment opportunities to develop resort real estate projects, high-end resort apartments and golf courses.

At the same time, support Ca Mau province to register the Ca Mau crab brand in Korea, invite Korean culinary experts to Ca Mau to research and develop crab dishes or support the organization of the Ca Mau crab festival.
In addition, seek import sources for some agricultural and aquatic products such as: crab, shrimp, high-quality honey... cooperate to develop carbon credit market, develop cosmetic and pharmaceutical materials and promote cooperation with Vietnamese tourism companies, as well as Ca Mau province to develop two-way Vietnam - Korea tour products.
He hopes that the Trade Delegation and the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea will support Ca Mau province in expanding cooperation in the field of sending workers from the province to work in Korea.
Currently, the Vietnamese Government as well as the Ca Mau provincial government are implementing a policy to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for households with housing difficulties, to be completed by 2025.
Therefore, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Su hopes to connect with Korean businesses and non-governmental organizations to provide financial support for Ca Mau province in particular and Vietnam in general to complete the program through the commercial counselor and embassy.
Ca Mau crab has firm, delicious meat that attracts tourists from inside and outside the province.
Also at the reception of the Trade Delegation of the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea, Mr. Le Van Su also assigned the Investment Promotion and Enterprise Support Center of Ca Mau province (iPEC) to be the focal point, coordinating with the provincial departments, branches and relevant parties to develop a specific plan to participate in the cultural cooperation event between Korea and Vietnam in March 2025.
The focus is on promoting the Ca Mau crab brand and inviting Korean investors to invest in Ca Mau province.
The Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province also requested the Department of Industry and Trade and the Ca Mau Association of Seafood Processing and Export (CASEP) to actively support members in connecting with Korean import partners, in order to promote the import of seafood products of Ca Mau province in the coming time.
This working session is an important premise and basis for the two sides to continue to have deeper exchanges and cooperation activities in the fields of culture, tourism, production and business development in the coming time.
Previously, the Trade Delegation of the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea surveyed the crab farming model at Tai Thinh Phat Farm Cooperative, in Lung Duoc Hamlet, Tam Giang Commune, Nam Can District, Ca Mau Province.
