On the morning of April 22, the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, held the 19th session (special session).
Comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting.
Attending the meeting were comrades: Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; delegates of the Provincial People's Council, and leaders of a number of departments, branches and localities.
According to Decision No. 2392 dated December 6, 2023 of the Central Organizing Committee, the total number of public preschool and general education positions from 2023-2024 in Nghe An province will be supplemented with 2,187 teacher positions.
The Provincial People's Council has approved the addition of 2,187 teacher positions for the 2023-2024 school year to the Department of Education and Training, People's Committees of districts, cities and towns.
Accordingly, preschool block has 1,352 positions; primary block has 369 positions; secondary block has 441 positions and high school block has 25 positions.
Allocation principle: For Preschool, Primary and Secondary schools: The number of teachers at each level of the unit is supplemented by the number of teachers lacking in the unit multiplied by the ratio of teachers supplemented in the whole province to the total number of teachers lacking in the whole province.
For high school level, allocation is based on the number of teachers lacking in schools and the opinions of the Department of Education and Training.
At the same time, the draft Resolution also adjusts the total number of civil servants in public service units and association organizations in 2024 to 58,048 people.
In particular, the number of civil servants compared to Resolution No. 77, dated December 7, 2023 of the Provincial People's Council on approving the total number of employees and contract workers receiving salaries from the budget in public service units and association organizations in 2024 is 55,861, adding 2,187 civil servants.
