The Korea Tourism Organization announced on February 19 the nationwide cherry blossom blooming schedule for 2025. Cherry blossoms usually bloom for two weeks, from the time they first bloom until they fade.

The cherry blossom season in South Korea in 2025 is expected to start in late March and last until mid-April. In Seoul, the flowers will start blooming on March 28 and will be at their peak from April 3 to April 10. Visitors can visit Yeouido, which hosts a famous cherry blossom festival with thousands of trees blooming along the Han River. Incheon and Suwon also have similar blooming schedules, with attractions such as Hwaseong Fortress and Songdo Park.

In the southern part of Jeju Island, the cherry blossom season begins early, from March 20, and peaks from March 27 to April 1. This is the ideal time to combine cherry blossom viewing with exploring famous destinations such as Hallasan Mountain, Cheonjiyeon Waterfall, and Hyeopjae Beach. Enjoying fresh seafood and hallabong tangerines is an experience not to be missed when traveling to Jeju during cherry blossom season.

The coastal city of Busan sees the flowers in full bloom from March 30 to April 3, with Dalmaji Hill Park being a popular viewing spot. Central regions such as Daejeon and Jeonju see their flowers peak in early April, with the highlight being the Jeonju Hanok Village, where visitors can enjoy the flowers while experiencing traditional Korean culture.

To the east, Gangneung and Chuncheon have a flower season that lasts until April 10, making it ideal for combining flower viewing with exploring beautiful beaches or trying Chuncheon's specialty ginseng chicken stew.

According to a survey of some airlines from April 1 to 6, when cherry blossoms are in full bloom in many places, the price of tickets to Korea from Ho Chi Minh City is about 4.2 - 6.9 million VND for economy class. According to travel companies, cherry blossom season and red and yellow leaf season are two times that attract Vietnamese tourists to Korea. Tours from Ho Chi Minh City cost from 16 million VND, with diverse itineraries such as Seoul - Nami - Everland, taking visitors to admire cherry blossoms at Yeouido Park, Nami Island and experience entertainment at Everland. The Seoul - Busan - Gyeongju tour is famous for the Jinhae cherry blossom festival. The Seoul - Jeju - Nami tour is suitable for tourists who like to experience closeness to nature. All tours are scheduled to depart from the end of March.

A representative of a travel company in Ho Chi Minh City said that tourists are often interested in flower viewing tours from late February to early March. The flower viewing program on the tour depends a lot on the weather, the time the flowers bloom and the time to wait for visa procedures. Tourists who do not have visas often plan 1-2 months in advance.
