Honoring 50 typical families with revolutionary contributions on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Da Lat Liberation Day

(LĐ online) - On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Da Lat Liberation Day (April 3, 1975 - April 3, 2025), Da Lat City People's Committee will organize a ceremony to honor typical families with revolutionary contributions and meet former leaders, cadres and soldiers of Da Lat city through the periods.

This is an important political event for Da Lat - Lam Dong in the historic April days full of national significance. The program is expected to attract about 800 delegates and will be solemnly held at the Da Lat Opera House, Lam Vien Square, at 2:00 p.m. on April 2, 2025.

Here, the delegates will review together the heroic tradition of the cadres and people of Da Lat city in the cause of national liberation, construction and defense of the Fatherland. At the same time, the outstanding socio -economic achievements of Da Lat city over the past 50 years will be reviewed through the reportage and speech of the Secretary of the Da Lat City Party Committee.

The ceremony will honor and show gratitude to 50 families with outstanding revolutionary contributions; at the same time, award the Medal for the Cause of Construction and Development of Lam Dong Province to 50 individuals with special contributions.

The program not only aims to propagate and educate the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", but also shows deep gratitude for the contributions of families with revolutionary contributions in the cause of protecting, building and developing Da Lat; affirming and honoring the achievements of Da Lat city in the half century since the liberation day until now.

The event is also an opportunity to encourage and motivate cadres, party members and people of all walks of life to continue to promote the strength of solidarity, build a clean and strong Party Committee and political system; at the same time, call on the entire community to join hands in developing the economy, culture, society, and enhancing the position of Da Lat city. The goal is to contribute to the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee to overcome difficulties and develop sustainably, towards the common prosperity of the whole country.
