This is the content of the report of the CEO of the NPO company "Android Engineering", Mr. Evgeny Dudorov.

"When performing automatic target recognition exercises, the grenade launcher module with a high-speed gearless transmission allows the Marker combat robot to hit targets much faster and more accurately than a human shooter," reads the report, presented at the "Army-2023" international military-technical forum taking place in Moscow, Russia.

It should be noted that the robot demonstrated high performance both when firing from a stationary position and while in motion. The drives of the electro-optical sight and the weapon are separated, which will allow the robot to engage several targets in the field of view at the same time.

NPO “Android Engineering” is currently working on improving the accuracy and selectivity of firing, as well as hitting high-speed air targets.

“Platforms can now engage micro-drones and many other complex targets much faster and more effectively than humans can,” the report said. “In Project Marker, the operator is only present at the decision-making stage to complete the mission.”

The Marker robot was jointly developed by the NPO "Android Engineering" and the Fund for Potential Researches, in cooperation with leading Russian research groups.

This robotic complex weighs about 3 tons and, according to its developers, has the most advanced autonomous mobility skills in Russia with object recognition capabilities based on artificial intelligence technology.
