According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from June 29, the North will have hot weather in some places.

Before the heat wave, this area received heavy rain. Specifically, on the night of June 24 and today (June 25), the North, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An had moderate rain, heavy rain, and locally very heavy rain.

It is forecasted that in the next 24 to 48 hours, the Northeast, Son La, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An will have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, and locally very heavy rain. The total rainfall in these areas from 7:00 p.m. on June 25 to 7:00 p.m. on June 26 will range from 30-70 mm, with some places over 100 mm, from 7:00 p.m. on June 26 to 7:00 p.m. on June 27 will be 20-40 mm, with some places over 60 mm.

In addition, from the evening of June 25 to June 26, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Ha Giang will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally moderate rain, heavy rain with rainfall of 20-40 mm, some places over 60 mm (thunderstorms will occur mainly in the evening and at night). Ha Tinh to Binh Thuan, the Central Highlands and the South will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally moderate rain, heavy rain with rainfall of 15-30 mm, some places over 60 mm (thunderstorms will occur mainly in the evening and at night).

On the night of June 27, in the North and North Central regions, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some areas experiencing moderate to heavy rain.

Beware of the risk of flash floods, landslides in mountainous areas and flooding in low-lying areas. Heavy rain in a short period of time can cause flooding in urban areas. Thunderstorms may cause tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Also according to the meteorological agency, from June 29, provinces and cities from Thanh Hoa to Phu Yen will be hot, with some places experiencing severe heat, in which the area from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue will be hot and extremely hot.
