Vinmec Healthcare System and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) have just officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement to focus on player health care, while expanding training and research to comprehensively improve the quality of sports medicine in Vietnam. The event not only helps improve the quality of health care for athletes but also promotes the sustainable development of sports medicine in the country.

Accordingly, Vinmec will send experienced medical experts to directly participate and accompany the health care of the players throughout the training and competition process in major tournaments of AFF - Southeast Asian Football Championship, AFC - Asian Football Cup and FIFA - International Football Federation.

In addition, the hospital will provide maximum support in connecting and creating conditions for athletes to access the most advanced treatment methods from the world's leading team of experts and prestigious hospitals.

Strategic cooperation signing ceremony.

With the advantage of managing the Vietnam national team, VFF will create conditions for medical experts to participate in health care for players during training and competitions.

In parallel, the two units will cooperate in scientific research, testing and application of advanced treatment methods in the field of sports medicine. This strategy aims to support Vinmec to improve and enhance quality, aiming to achieve the certification of FIFA Sports Medicine Center of Excellence.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phu, General Secretary of Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) spoke.

Immediately after the signing ceremony, the two sides will organize a scientific seminar and an intensive training program for the sports medical team, updating the latest advances in diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries.

In addition, the two units will launch campaigns to disseminate knowledge and raise awareness of sports health care for the community in Vietnam.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Phu, General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), expressed his gratitude for Vinmec's dedicated and effective support over the years.

"We believe that, with comprehensive strategic cooperation , the values ​​we create for players will increase, strongly promoting the development and sustainability of Vietnamese sports medicine," Mr. Phu believes.

Previously, the two units signed a cooperation agreement valid for 3 years (2022-2024) to sponsor examinations, organize professional consultations and treat injuries for members of the National Team.
