Nam Dinh awarded certificates of merit and wished Xuan Son's family a Happy New Year

Permanent Vice Chairman of Nam Dinh People's Committee Tran Anh Dung sent New Year wishes of Peace and Prosperity to Nguyen Xuan Son's family, and awarded a certificate of merit from the Chairman of Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee to this striker for his outstanding achievements in helping the Vietnamese team win the 2024 ASEAN Cup. Mr. Dung expressed special concern for the striker's health after the injury.

Nam Dinh provincial leaders encouraged Xuan Son to maintain an optimistic spirit, follow the treatment regimen to quickly recover from his injury, return to the field and continue to contribute to Nam Dinh football and the Vietnam national team.

In response to the concern of Nam Dinh provincial leaders and fans, Xuan Son expressed his gratitude and appreciation. The striker affirmed that he will make every effort to receive treatment, in order to soon return to the field with the best form, responding to the expectations of fans.

Tet gift for Nguyen Xuan Son

After surgery for the injury he suffered at the 2024 ASEAN Cup, Nguyen Xuan Son was discharged from the hospital on January 24 and returned home in Nam Dinh. After celebrating Lunar New Year with his family, Xuan Son returned to the hospital to begin the recovery stages.

Some Nam Dinh fans gave players banh chung and gio, typical dishes of the traditional Vietnamese New Year.
