5 years of steadfast companionship – A strategic affirmation of SABECO
2025 marks the 5th consecutive year that SABECO has accompanied Tien Phong Marathon. Not simply a name appearing on a banner or a jersey, SABECO's presence is always associated with a series of practical activities, inspiring and connecting the community.
With more than 7,400 athletes nationwide participating in this year's race in Quang Tri - a heroic historical land, the steps not only have sporting significance, but also become a symbol of national endurance and aspiration to rise up.
SABECO, with the Saigon Beer brand, has brought a new breeze to the season, with creative cheering areas, vibrant relay points, meaningful community interaction activities, and especially the direct participation of more than 20 runners who are officers and employees from within the enterprise. It is not just “sponsorship” – it is the spread of the spirit of physical exercise, aiming for a balanced, active lifestyle from the inside out.

From the heart of Quang Tri – The intersection of history, sports and culture
This year’s event is of special significance as it is held in Quang Tri, once a fierce battlefield during the resistance war, and 2025 is also the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. In that space, SABECO’s presence becomes even more profound as the company also celebrates the 150th anniversary of the formation and development of the Saigon Beer brand and the predecessor of SABECO. Saigon Beer is a brand imbued with traditional values, closely associated with the modern history of Vietnam.
The fusion of modern sports breath, national cultural and historical flow and long-standing brand values has created a harmonious whole, turning Tien Phong Marathon 2025 into not only a race, but also an emotional journey.
Inspirational Journey: Not Just Running, But Living Actively and Balancedly
What makes SABECO stand out the most is its long-term, systematic strategy in promoting an active lifestyle and community physical development. Tien Phong Marathon is just one of a series of initiatives that have been and are being implemented:

"Sports Step Up" Project (2022–2024): Upgrading 30 community playgrounds in 30 provinces and cities - spaces for children and people to exercise and connect with the community. "Sports Hub - Connecting Vietnamese Spirit" initiative (2024): Taking place in 36 provinces and cities, combining sports with folk culture and traditional games, creating a vibrant playground for all generations. Saigon Cup (VPL): National 7-a-side football tournament, nurturing passion for sports in the grassroots community. Accompanying the SEA Games, the national football team, the "Glory of Vietnamese Sports" programs - affirming the role of a strategic friend of the country's sports. All of these efforts, when viewed in the context of Tien Phong Marathon, are like bricks laid steadily on the path to sustainable development, from the perspective of a business that puts community values first.
Connecting People – Uniting Nations
Underneath every step is a message: Health is a common asset, sports are a bridge to the community, and businesses do not just do business – they also create social values. SABECO has been doing it with all its heart and vision.
It was SABECO people – from leaders, employees to local partners – who together brought that spirit to Quang Tri. And there, in the cheers, in the drops of sweat and the bright smiles after the finish line, the mark of Saigon Beer was truly engraved – not only on the race track, but also in the hearts of thousands of participants.
Tien Phong Marathon 2025 may only last a few days, but the journey that SABECO is running with Vietnam is a true marathon – persistent, long-lasting and relentless. For the past 150 years, Saigon Beer has continuously developed with the country. And today, that brand continues to run – not only forward, but also with the people, for a healthy, united and sustainably developed Vietnam.
