Muong Khuong organizes a workshop to promote the role of leaders in the spirit of "7 dares"

On the morning of June 27, Muong Khuong District Party Committee organized a workshop to promote the role of leaders in the spirit of 7 dares: dare to think; dare to speak; dare to do; dare to take responsibility; dare to innovate and create; dare to face difficulties and challenges; dare to act for the common good.

The workshop aims to help Party committees, Party organizations, cadres, Party members, civil servants, union members, association members and the people deeply understand the valuable instructions as well as the exemplary example of Uncle Ho on the spirit of "7 dares". On that basis, propose solutions to gradually overcome the fear of making mistakes, shirking responsibility, and avoiding responsibility among a number of cadres and Party members. From there, promote more strongly the exemplary leading role of cadres and Party members, contributing to the successful implementation of resolutions set forth by Party congresses at all levels.

Attending the workshop were comrade Duong Duc Huy, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

According to the report at the workshop, in recent times, the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style and the application and promotion of the spirit of "7 dares" in carrying out political tasks in Muong Khuong district have gradually gone into depth, creating important changes in the awareness and actions of the entire political system at all levels. From there, it has created political motivation and determination for the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the district to reap many important results.

In the work of building the Party and the political system, the District Party Committee has directed the heads of Party committees and authorities to select key contents, urgent and prominent issues, and breakthrough areas to focus on leading, directing, and resolving many long-standing backlog cases, creating trust and excitement among cadres, Party members, and the People. Actively innovate in propaganda and mobilization work to bring the Party's Resolution into life; regularly inspect and supervise the implementation of Party resolutions; promote the sense of responsibility of the heads of the District Party Committee; direct the good work of mobilizing, rotating, and strengthening cadres to localities; establish working groups in charge of helping the grassroots...

In socio-economic development, the 24th District Party Executive Committee is determined to set out 25 goals, 3 breakthrough areas with 9 groups of tasks and solutions, 7 resolutions, 4 projects, 1 plan to implement the goals of the Congress Resolution to direct implementation, striving to soon bring Muong Khuong district out of poverty. Currently, the district is the leading locality in the province in agricultural economic development in the spirit of Resolution No. 10 dated August 26, 2021 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee. Accordingly, up to now, the tea area of the whole district has reached 5,456 hectares, pineapple area 1,664 hectares, banana 600 hectares, tangerine 815 hectares, chili 200 hectares, Seng cu rice 550 hectares. Livestock production has developed stably. National defense, security, and foreign affairs have been strengthened, social order and safety are stable; national borders are maintained.

The results achieved confirm that Party committees and organizations at all levels in the area have seriously, proactively and creatively applied the spirit of "7 dares" with many good ways, close to the political tasks of each locality and unit. Each cadre and party member has included the content of implementing the spirit of "7 dares" in the commitment to exemplary responsibility, at the same time identifying specific and practical solutions to overcome the limitations and shortcomings that have been pointed out; determined to push back the situation of shirking responsibility, avoiding responsibility, and fear of making mistakes among a number of cadres and party members.

At the workshop, delegates discussed the following contents: Muong Khuong District Police properly applied the spirit of "7 dares", creativity and innovation to overcome difficulties and challenges, promptly meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation; La Pan Tan Commune Party Committee and government promoted the spirit of "7 dares" in leading and directing the implementation of 3 national target programs; built a team of "7 dares" commune officials and civil servants; Lung Vai Commune Party Executive Committee promoted the spirit of "7 dares" in leading and directing local socio-economic development.

The workshop also provided time for delegates to discuss and share difficulties and obstacles, propose solutions and share experiences and good practices in performing tasks associated with the spirit of "7 dares" of each cadre and party member at agencies, units and localities.

Speaking at the workshop, comrade Duong Duc Huy, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Muong Khuong District Party Committee in the past time. He hoped that after this workshop, the contents on implementing the spirit of "7 dares" will be more specific, in which setting an example of "7 dares" needs to continue to be promoted.

The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department expressed his belief that Muong Khuong district will be one of the leading units in concretizing the spirit of "7 dares" from the district to communes and towns, thereby contributing to building an increasingly clean and strong Party.
