Traveling more than 20 km to bring his wife and children here to enjoy spring and take check-in photos with the pair of snake mascots, Tran Tan Bao (28 years old), residing in Ha Lam town, Thang Binh district (Quang Nam province), shared: "Every year, my wife and I go here for spring, this morning my family arrived here at 9 o'clock. This year, the square is beautifully decorated with lots of fresh flowers, especially the pair of snake mascots are extremely prominent."

Bao said that because there were so many people wanting to take pictures with the snake mascot, they had to wait in line for their turn. “I was most impressed with the extremely powerful cobra, which was carved with great care and detail,” Bao said.

While happily capturing the images of the New Year with her mother, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy (35 years old), residing in Tien My commune, Tien Phuoc district (Quang Nam province), said: “This is the first time my mother and I have come here for a spring outing. I find the scenery here very beautiful, the atmosphere is bustling and joyful, everyone is happy. I like the pair of snake mascots the most, because of their bright and eye-catching yellow color, hoping for a new year of wealth and luck.”

This square is also a familiar spring destination for Nguyen Linh Anh (24 years old), living in Binh Phu commune, Thang Binh district (Quang Nam province) every Tet holiday. The Gen Z girl shared: “Every year, this place is decorated with lots of fresh flowers, creating a very spring scene. Especially, this year, I see here all the images of the 12 zodiac animals, not just the snake. The animals are all decorated very funny and cute”.
Many people wear coats, hats and umbrellas when going out for spring.
