On the evening of November 10, Tuoi Tre newspaper and its partner PRO Vietnam will hold the Green Regeneration Competition award ceremony at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).
After more than 4 months of launching, the Green Regeneration contest has attracted more than 300 entries from all over the country, with practical ideas and actions on recycling, green living, meaningful community projects, etc.
The Organizing Committee has completed the evaluation and decided to award 11 prizes to outstanding individuals and units, with no special prizes.
The award ceremony took place within the framework of the Green Vietnam Festival, with the participation of many experts and guests.
Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hong Quan, Director of the Institute for Circular Economy Development Research (member of the jury), highly appreciated the quality of this year's entries.
He shared that the participating projects demonstrated diversity and creativity, covering many fields such as economics, community, agriculture, forestry, etc.
According to Mr. Quan, the submitted entries demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm for sustainable development. Some projects were highly applicable, inspiring and very suitable for the circular economy trend.
Similarly, Mr. Le Anh, director of sustainable development at Duy Tan Recycling (member of the jury), also highly appreciated the ideas submitted to the contest.
"This year's entries are all seriously invested with in-depth research, opening up potential for future development," Mr. Le Anh commented, expressing his hope that the projects will go further in the future, contributing to a sustainable society and a green, clean Vietnam.
The Green Regeneration Competition is part of the Green Vietnam project, a playground for all domestic and foreign subjects to share actions, projects, recycled products, emission reduction tools, etc.
According to the organizers, the entries are evaluated based on feasibility, development potential, applicability in life, economic and social efficiency, and creativity contributing to sustainable development.
The Organizing Committee will award 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 5 consolation prizes to projects, groups, clubs and readers who write articles. Details of the awards will be announced at the award ceremony at the Green Vietnam Festival.
