Van Thinh Phat bondholders need to quickly complete documents to receive compensation.

Regarding the Van Thinh Phat case (phase 2), many bondholders who bought Van Thinh Phat bonds are concerned about completing paperwork procedures to quickly receive compensation for damages.

Regarding the above content, according to the Ho Chi Minh City Civil Judgment Enforcement Department (Cuc THADS), the Department has just issued a notice instructing Van Thinh Phat bondholders to complete the application and procedures for receiving compensation when the second-phase appeal judgment takes effect.

Accordingly , phase 2 of the Van Thinh Phat case was tried at first instance by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Court and issued Judgment No. 504/2024/HSST. After the first instance trial, Ms. Truong My Lan and 28 defendants and bondholders exercised their right to appeal, so the High People's Court in the City is accepting and resolving the case according to the appeal procedure.

Only after the appellate judgment comes into legal effect, based on the content of the judgment and the parties in the case , will the City's Civil Judgment Enforcement Department proceed to accept and resolve the enforcement of the judgment in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Civil Judgment Enforcement and related legal documents.

Hundreds of bondholders who bought Van Thinh Phat ecosystem bonds have called for help everywhere.

However, to facilitate the collection of personal information of bondholders, serving the purpose of making payments by bank transfer to bondholders, the HCM City Department of THADS requests bondholders to contact Tan Viet Securities Joint Stock Company (TVSI is the Registration, Depository and Bond Payment Agent of all bondholders in the Van Thinh Phat case, phase 2) after February 8, 2025 for instructions on completing the Application and attached documents as prescribed.

It is known that the City's Department of Enforcement has temporarily collected about 8,000 billion (the judgment enforcement money of Ms. Truong My Lan) and is focusing on organizing the enforcement and handling other secured assets in the Van Thinh Phat case (phase 1) to make proportional payments to bondholders and people with related rights and obligations as soon as the judgment comes into legal effect.
